All info I have is based on this video and what it has to offer (reddit link).
What do you guys think? Am I the only one that feels like the community in general is overreacting. The game, in my opinion is too old and stale as of right now. I'm a 7th prestige player and I really like the fact that they are mixing things up and coming with new updates. It seems like Raven is working hard on the game.
I think that if the game stays the way it is right now it is going to die out soon enough. Updates like these makes the game feel more exciting, because it opens up for more strategies and opportunities to discover the game in different aspects.
Honestly I can feel that getting the exclusion zone camo and playing shipment is what makes me wanna get on and play. (I have 10 days on the OLD cod4)
Do you agree or don't you think the game will become too boring too soon without updates?
Also, what's up with the supply drop bitching? Getting the main things you want just from playing does not take long at all.
ps: killcams and other bugs will most likely be fixed in the next patch.

I don't like any updates to the game personally.
I would prefer it to stay like the original call of duty 4.

It should be clear as day that MWR is NOT going to be Call of Duty 4... I am fine with new attachments and weapons to a certain extent. Most of the stuff on this page would be refreshing for the game: http://pastebin.com/Y2iRjhhS
Of these attachments, I would be perfectly fine with akimbo, holographic sight, reflex (practically red dot), tactical knife, variable zoom, and extended magazine. You have to realize that maybe they didn't put "Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Remastered" in the title for a reason and with them adding in supply drops and colorful camouflages, it's very clear that this game is not going to stay true to the CoD4 feel. It's what we all should've expected honestly.
I still really don't know how I feel even though I said I'd be perfectly fine with those attachments. The game can get stale and more updates and attachments can be fun if they do it the right way. I hope they don't put all of these new guns and weapons into the Depot system because then that will really piss me off. But if these weapons and guns are just going to be dropped right next to other attachments and weapons in the Custom Class slots, I would be fine with it. After all, these new guns and attachments would probably be banned in UMG/GB anyway.
Guns on the other hand, I'm unsure of. I don't think they're going to drop this tactical nuke on us all at one time, the next update will most likely include new attachments, bug fixes, and camouflages, but if they drop the MOAB on us with everything in these pastebins and data mined images, the community will be mad! Especially if they do release noob attachments like heart beat sensors, long barrel, and thermal. Note that all of these are from MW2.

As I don't play pubs I don't really care about any updates. They won't be added into tournaments/wagers regardless. But I'd still rather not have them

I think the main reason for this whole thing is to keep up with other modern shooters.
Back in 07 or whenever this game was first released it was the best game out but now with games having so many options and such now people literally have video game ADD.
Its cool that they are adding stuff though but I would have preferred it to be kept original

Yeah, thats what I don't understand. How can people expect a game from 07 to be anywhere near interesting for an entire year.
I would also prefer keeping it around original level too, but honestly. I'm just glad they bother to do anything at all.
