I'm Lord Maul (UID: 1208395)
I'm a retard who lost his phone and didn't backup his authy keys so I lost access to my account.
I have used the contact form weeks ago and still have not had a reply. I obviously can't PM and shitposting to get count to be able to PM omni seemed like a bad idea so here I am, all out of ideas so I'm posting this thread.
I am aware of the consequences of losing access to my account.
Can someone kindly forward this to omni?

I've just stopped helping people recover accounts because it's incredibly time consuming. Honestly, you're told to backup the key. You're also told to use Authy. So there is really no excuse for your negligence.

That's what I thought too, my account is empty. Appearently I didn't have backups enabled.
So if I'm not getting my account back am I allowed to create a new one or will I be banned for being a multi?... If not then this is a really bad policy from a business perspective in my opinion. I've been a member here for 5 years and I've always tried to be as high quality as I could. Am I really going to lose access to the forum I love because of 1 mistake?...

Omni has stated, he is pretty much done recovering lost 2FA accounts.
Further noted, you got about a 1% chance of recovery.
Seen quite a few people denied recently, only one reopened/unlocked and it was noted only because the IP#s matched the registration IP#.
Hope you are on the same registration IP#, matching info. likely your best hope.

It's really his choice. So many people here are careless about their 2FA details and he's the only one who can do it. Plus he has other things he needs to be working on. He stopped doing it as often because it was taking up too much of his time and slowing down updates. I believe you can stay on another account, but someone else will need to confirm that.

As stated above authy has a chrome app, but I'm almost certain you need to have access to the device to get the codes from the device. It's something that should have been setup before losing the phone. Correct me if I'm wrong. You may be able to contact authy support, they were able to merge two of my authy accounts together when I had the same thing happen to me.

He's growing a successful business, it's you that has ownership of your own account, if you fail to keep track of that, then it's your own fault.
