10.2 Jailbreak Beta released. - Larsenpower - Jan 26, 2017

I've seen a few people asking about this lately. There has now been released a Jailbreak for iOS 10.2

This video explains it all.

Don;t have time to watch the video

But the jb is open source rn and VERY unstable. would recommend waiting for a final product

* - CASTIEL - Jan 26, 2017

As Maslow stated this is a unstable beta version of a jailbreak. Do not use this jailbreak unless you know what you are doing. Else please wait for the full release.

The only issue lies with incompatible tweaks.

Yes this is more stable then the previous Yalu that was only available for 10.1.

It is still advised to wait for a stable public release which i think will be just after the weekend as the JB is already reasonably stable but Luca just needs to test it on 4K devices (64-bit devices e.g iPhone 6)

It's actually the Alpha of the Jailbreak, but yes, it has been released.

Excited to see that they finally released something. Now we play the waiting game for the tweaks to be updated.

EDIT: Didn't know this doesn't work on the iPhone 7 Plus yet, damn.

The Yalu jailbreak for 10.2 will never support iPhone 7 and iPhone 7+. If you want to jailbreak you need to be below 10.2 on an iPhone 7.

Should I update from 10.1 to 10.2?

Yes you should, it is always advised to stay on the latest Jailbreakable firmware.

EDIT: ONLY IF YOUR ON A 64-BIT DEVICE OTHER THEN THE iPHONE 7 and 7+

fuck that,
its unstable. Just wait til the final version to be released. Won't be long.

It may be unstable, but we're close enough to the actual jailbreak, if mobile substrate is supported in this version of Yalu, then we know that Luca tedesco will be releasing it very soon, just sit tight, and those people that gave out their shit or whatever it was, I'm not sure what it's called, but it has helped him, and will cause him to release it quicker than expected, and he is working with another IT guy, so he has some sort of help, and he's not a 1 man team anymore.

Just sit tight everyone. I can't wait for the Gamma version of the Jailbreak though, that's when I'm going to upgrade, and if I mess up, I already have my SHSH2 blobs saved, so I can downgrade at a later time.

:)

Never use a non-stable jailbreak. So stupid.

The only buggy aspects are the tweaks that aren't supported by iOS 10.

Yeah, that's the only problem, really.

Like many youtubers, and Luca himself have said, it's only for developers for now, to get the tweaks out, most likely.

Many reddit users have said that its very stable but I feel many are just dick sucking tbh.

Such as:
"I love how smooth it is, my 9.1 JB was slow compared to this one"

R/jailbreak

Is literally full of dick riders that don't know what the fuck they're talking about 95% of the time.

Regardless I hope 10.2 keeps getting signed at least until a stable JB comes out so I can finally update my iPhone lol
