What was your most successful forum? - Nerdi - Jan 26, 2017
Mine was a general discussion forum called Bibbo.
It got thousands of posts, but I got bored with it and let it go.
My next biggest forum was GeneralForum.org which got a lot of hits from Google because of the name. I ended up selling it.
I used MyBB for both, and started each with "post exchanges/purchases" on a site called ForumPromotion. I had racked up thousands in virtual cash (FP$) on that site and used it to fund the first thousand posts or so on each.

Well mine was a forum which was focused on a very specific yet small niche. Ran really well for over 7 years. With 150000+ members. Had to close it down because of the lack of time I had and other IRL issues.
