Is this what giving birth looks like?

Quick question, why aren't you using a brush preset? More like professional brushes made by different artists? It would help your works out by A LOT. I like your concepts, but I dislike the round brush. It may be your style, but it's always room for improvement.
I see a face down there somewhere, something extraterrestrial giving birth to a human-like species to invade and substract intel from different undergoing secret researches and experiments? Yeah, I bet that's it.

My style is always changing, going from Digital to Paper/Ink, back to digital learning things on the way to answer the question though.. I think I naturally just default to a round brush for some unknown reason, however I will take your advice on board, And I hope you can give some feedback on my next post.

And yeah, You're pretty much spot on. hah

Definitely. I used to naturally do line art with a 5px round brush in photoshop. Now I am working on a new piece in Illustrator using a few custom brushes that certainly help me a lot in progressing.

Cheers.

I don't get it. Not even a single bit.
If I just saw this I'd really not know what it means

Looking at this it looks like chambers inside an embryo of some sorts or like a cocoon housing some kind of spiritual being. I fuck with it but as Avesso said some variation in your brushes may allow for more definition in places, some differences in your lines may also make certain parts flow better. Everything kind of gets 'muddy' when it's all so similar. I'm not saying your piece looks like that but it's something to take into consideration for sure.

If you look closely from one specific angle , it looks like a colibri bird rotting from the tail to the head.
Marvelous !
