Include "News" forum posts on website - LinK - Jan 29, 2017
I have a webpage that is non-cms. I would like to include any posts made in the News / Announcements forum, onto the main index page of my website, kind of like SMF did with the SSI functions. I know this can be done with some manipulations of the MySQL database. I was just curious if anyone has done this. And knows how I can do it.

So you're trying to send your news feed from XenForo to a HTML/PHP page?

Not exactly, I want say the 5 newest threads set in a specific board to display on the front page. I want just the Original Thread not the replies, basically "Write Comment" will redirect to the forums.

I appreciate the suggestion Canonsx130, but that is not quite what I am looking for. I do not want my www.* to redirect to forums.* just to imitate the forums news category on the www.* page. I know that is a little garbled. But ....
I want to display atleast of my latest 5 threads in my news category on the main page of the website, I still want the forums and www to be individual parts of the site, the only link is the news, that is reading the database and displaying them on the front page.
