Understanding Python codes - Physicist - Jan 30, 2017

Hey guys,

Basically here's the short story. I just took on a responsibility for my research team at my university to understanding a machine and it's codes which are written in Python. It was created by a person who's apparently not here anymore so no one knows exactly how to completely operate it. I'd say I understand 60-70% of it(the codes) and there are a couple of modules that I find hard to understand even looking it up online, for example ctypes.

If there's anyone out there who's really good at python and working with machines, I'd be great appreciated if you can help me out. There are various pre-coded custom modules that specifically serve this purpose as well.

Are you allowed to publicly post the stuff or is it proprietary/private?

Well...we do have public directory but it doesn't contain the ones I'm working on. There's no specification that it is private or not but I'd prefer private message and finding a way to communicate 1 on 1, that'd be great👍

I make no promises if it's legacy code but feel free to PM me.

ctypes is quite a simple library, it's used for calling libraries functions.
