* - Do You Want To Bet - Jan 31, 2017 i can dig it im a fan of poly stuff * - Motusora - Jan 31, 2017 (Jan 31, 2017 09:08 PM)snailgolfer Wrote: i can dig it im a fan of poly stuff thanks <3 * - ze-slade - Jan 31, 2017 Better than whatever I could do, lol. Good job OP. * - AvessoVision - Feb 1, 2017 I see some crispy/pixelated lines in between the shapes. Always convert your document to RGB before saving, especially in Illustrator. The shapes are too big, but it can be seen as a new style. I like the overall flow to the sides, it goes down well, good colour contrast as well. Here's my version of a low poly wolf. Spoiler (Click to View) Cheers. * - Motusora - Feb 1, 2017 (Feb 1, 2017 12:59 AM)AvessoVision Wrote: I see some crispy/pixelated lines in between the shapes. I usually work on A4 since it's still a vector and I do not really need a bigger size than that. It's because your document is set on CMYK rather than RGB. * - Do You Want To Bet - Feb 1, 2017 (Feb 1, 2017 12:59 AM)AvessoVision Wrote: I see some crispy/pixelated lines in between the shapes. * - phunted - Feb 1, 2017 Looks good buddy, continue the good work. * - YinYang - Feb 1, 2017 I'm not a fan of the symetrical/mirriored low polys, but thats just my taste, the work itself is nice :) did you use a reference image? If so can I see it? * - AvessoVision - Feb 1, 2017 (Feb 1, 2017 01:48 AM)snailgolfer Wrote: not to be a dick but yours just seems off like its miss shapen yea his is more simple but i prefer it over yours Sorry but the work is mirrored, making it impossible for a miss shapen. Cheers. * - Do You Want To Bet - Feb 1, 2017 (Feb 1, 2017 01:54 AM)AvessoVision Wrote: Sorry but the work is mirrored, making it impossible for a miss shapen. yea like i said i know that yours is more difficult but i still like his more * - YinYang - Feb 1, 2017 (Feb 1, 2017 01:54 AM)AvessoVision Wrote: Sorry but the work is mirrored, making it impossible for a miss shapen. I think he means the shape of the Wolf itself, not the 'completeness' of it; like the top of its head/main seems protruded * - AvessoVision - Feb 1, 2017 (Feb 1, 2017 01:58 AM)YinYang Wrote: I think he means the shape of the Wolf itself, not the 'completeness' of it; like the top of its head/main seems protruded It was done in December 22, 2015. It was also my first low poly. Cheers. |
