Can you spy on an iPhone without jailbreaking it? - esaias - Feb 2, 2017 Hi hackforums. Recently the **** had access to my iPhone 6s plus for aproximately 3-4 days or so. During this time my phone was locked with the standard 6 number passcode. I was told my phone would be "emptied" by a woman who obviously didn't even know what that meant, which became apparent when i asked her. This leads me to believe that they have atleast plugged my phone into a PC and done something, what however, i don't know. Is there a way for ------, or anyone else for that matter, to bug or place spyware on my phone without the passcode and without jailbreaking it? I understand the possibility of a physical bug inside the phone case however i deem that unlikely. How would i check for such a bug? Could my phone be bugged/listened to through my carrier? Like the company who is selling me my phone subscription. Maybe it is worth mentioning that it is a business phone and the subscription is bought by the company. The company is not related in any way to the reason the phone was seized. Does this mean they need a warrant against the company in order to listen to this phone? Or is a listening warrant for me personally still viable in this situation? Idk if there are any experts on this in this forum who could help me but i figured it was worth a post. Thanks in advance. * - Λlex - Feb 2, 2017 It's hard enough to spy on an iPhone even with a jailbreak, let along this way. |
