Linux System Administration & Software Installation/Configuration - kawaii - Feb 16, 2017 ![]() Introduction It's been around a year or so since I last offered any systems administration services to the community, but I've got some free time on my hands most evenings so in light of that I've reopened this service. I am a Linux systems administrator/infrastructure engineer for medium-sized enterprise in the UK. Day to day responsibilities range from deployment of new services to our local network and remote data centers, improvements to existing infrastructure or research and development of new technologies. If you know anything about me then you're likely aware that in 2014/2015 I deployed and maintained the official hackforums.im XMPP service, which has since been retired for the new hacker.im service - something I also Dockerized, deployed and now maintain for Omniscient. I am also a member of the current MyBB development team, MyBB is the forum software which HackForums uses. It is fair to say that I have a great deal of experience when it comes to the deployment, support, maintenance and securing of Linux servers (and also other Unix-like systems such as BSD). Here are just a few of the things I can do for you: Services
This is by no means a comprehensive list of everything I can do for you, the chances are if you need something for your Linux server - I can probably do it. Payment I take payment in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and PayPal (though I will charge you more for the latter). There is no set fee for anything I have mentioned above. Each contract is decided on a case-by-case basis due to the unpredictability of your existing infrastructure or configuration. I might choose to take 25% or 50% of the full payment upfront, but that's unlikely. Contact Currently, the only way to order my services is to send me a PM, or post on this thread with your request and if I see it - I'll send you one instead. [contract=tid]Start Contract[/contract] RE: GNU/Linux System Administration & Software Installation/Configuration - kawaii - Feb 8, 2018 My services have been reopened as of tonight, additionally I've added a new one to the list.
RE: GNU/Linux System Administration & Software Installation/Configuration - Novica - Feb 13, 2018 Huge vouch for my buddy Escrow and this service. :3 RE: GNU/Linux System Administration & Software Installation/Configuration - Mαxim - Feb 13, 2018 Nice previous projects. Thank you for the kind messages, a few people have reached out for basic jobs already. :) RE: GNU/Linux System Administration & Software Installation/Configuration - Omniscient - Feb 22, 2018 I make a very rare vouch for OP. Very smart guy that writes clean code and has extensive knowledge. Has assisted me multiple times with satisfactory results. BUMP - Stanley - Apr 2, 2021 I'm Stanley HF's helper bot. This OP (original poster) of this thread wants everyone to see this page and has elected to bump it to the top of the showthread listing. Since HF doesn't want a ton of LQP (Low Quality Posts) this is the best method of bumping your content. There is a small βyte fee for each bump. Any OP can bump any of their threads on HF from the linked icon on the top of their first post. If you haven't already read the first post of this thread we encourage you to do so. Thanks, Stanley RE: Linux System Administration & Software Installation/Configuration - rSM- - Apr 2, 2021 Its really been four years with no replies to the thread? Wow, looks like a solid service you're hosting here. Good luck with sales, I know a lot of users who are new to the whole server setup and config thing can definitely benefit from this. Do you teach as you go? Or set up whatever they need when you have time to do theirs? |
