Urgently need paypal help - Shimakaze - Feb 17, 2017 If I'm in negative balance, what can happen? I got fucked over so just wondering is there anything I can do other than pay the money back because I got scammed €400 and it's not my fault? * - SippinAcid - Feb 17, 2017 (Feb 17, 2017 07:53 PM)Shimakaze Wrote: If I'm in negative balance, what can happen? If you lose the chargeback case then there's nothing you can do. Same thing happened to me and PayPal sent a bill to my door. * - ryan⚜ - Feb 17, 2017 Nah, it's not enough of an amount for them to really go after you as that will cost them more, but you probably won't be able to use that PP again. If you put all your real info then RIP. I'd try disputing and making whatever claims if it's legit. * - The Poseidon - Feb 17, 2017 I'm assuming you've sold goods and services, if so then you are going to have to provide photographic evidence to support the dispute on your side - if no evidence at all is given then you are most likely going to lose that dispute but even a phone call to PayPal will at least notify them that you've been scammed and it's better than sitting waiting for the dispute to get resolved and potentially lose all of your money. Best of luck. * - vaiperboy - Feb 18, 2017 well, if ure under 18 years old then you have nothing to worry about (except the part where they'll limit ur acc) however, if ure above 18 years old then a collection agency will come after you (ok this sounded like a threat lol, wat i meant is they'll get ur home phone #, ur # n basically everything related to u, however, i dont think they'll do anything other than threatening since its such a small amount) * - gore - Feb 18, 2017 Depends on the amount tbh. If it's a larger sum of money, they'll close your account and send your info to a collection agency whom will bug you for about 7 years (in USA at least) until it falls off your credit report. If it's small, they'll usually just close your account and you can't open another new one with the same info (so if it's your real info, that sucks). * - vaiperboy - Feb 18, 2017 (Feb 18, 2017 03:41 PM)lights out Wrote: Depends on the amount tbh.
