Couple of database dumps -> Website - jawing - Feb 26, 2017 Hi guys! I have a bunch of database dumps in txt and csv, whenever I need to search through my lists, I have to use notepad ++ and sometimes it crashes because its too big. I wonder if there's a search engine source code or something so I can put this stuff up on a website, something like haveibeenpwned.com * - SaceLandon - Feb 26, 2017 this is what i've been wondering too, and apparently I havn't been keeping up, just read https://www.cyberscoop.com/breach-database-leakedsource-reportedly-raided-feds/ leaked source was taken down so why hasn't haveibeenpwned and others also. if making one of those sites, it would have to be private I would think, like not raking in hundreds of thousands like LS interested if others know how to make this * - Drug Problems - Feb 26, 2017 (Feb 26, 2017 05:17 PM)SaceLandon Wrote: this is what i've been wondering too, and apparently I havn't been keeping up, just read Because HaveIBeenPwned doesn't sell access to search their database. They also remove things when asked to. * - jawing - Feb 27, 2017 (Feb 26, 2017 05:17 PM)SaceLandon Wrote: this is what i've been wondering too, and apparently I havn't been keeping up, just readIt's because they gave access to the databases as Drug Problems stated My site is not going to be as big as those, I will mostly have Swedish databases on mine. * - StaticCG - Feb 27, 2017 Is there a text-editor to open large files? * - ѕнιro - Feb 28, 2017 (Feb 27, 2017 03:04 PM)StaticC Wrote: Is there a text-editor to open large files?eMacs/Sublime. * - creativethinker93 - Mar 4, 2017 maybe try rename to .txt open shell do cat yourfile.txt | grep -e "key word" * - StyleShit - Mar 5, 2017 Import them to pma or something and you'll be able to search using queries. Easier, faster & better :) * - SIM-2223238 - Mar 5, 2017 (Feb 26, 2017 05:17 PM)SaceLandon Wrote: this is what i've been wondering too, and apparently I havn't been keeping up, just readHaveibeenpowned doesn't actually show any sensitive data, and most databases are put on there with permission. * - Clutch - Mar 6, 2017 If you're just looking for a way to easily view large files on your local system, fire up your command line and use those tools. On Linux you can use less/grep/cat. I'm sure there are equivalents on Windows. * - wellah - Mar 6, 2017 use grep and put all the databases in one folder * - xfreedom - Mar 7, 2017 If you open the txt files in windows, use glogg. * - TheMagnificent - Mar 7, 2017 Use Sift. Sift is the fastest and easiest tool to use, and you only need to put a .exe file and put in ur /System32/ (i presume ur on windongs) fire up ur cmd, cd to a folder, 'sift "string"' and there ya go. That's what i use to search through my databases. sift-tool. org i.imgur.()com/SdGLYtF.png |
