[Help] Steam removes my game from library - Velo - Feb 27, 2017 So... This is a weird occurence, it happened all week everyday I turned on my PC. I would find Dota 2 not in my steam library (All the files for the game are still there and in the same spot) I have to spend maybe 10 minutes, "reinstalling" dota, for it to just discover the files again and validate etc.. Why is this happening? Everytime I restart? * - Trivexlium - Feb 27, 2017 I have never had that problem for as long as I have been with steam. Do you have two different installations of steam on your pc on separate drives or anything? * - Velo - Feb 27, 2017 (Feb 27, 2017 10:01 PM)Homies4life09 Wrote: I have never had that problem for as long as I have been with steam. I have a dual boot on my main hd right now. and I do have steam installed on that. * - Trivexlium - Feb 27, 2017 Shouldn't be a problem, I had a problem before where steam would auto-start with windows but it wasn't the right folder/drive. I run steam off my D drive but the one on my C drive was auto-starting. I solved that tho, that didn't make my games disappear though just different ones come up since I had different installs. |
