Packet Sniffing Tools For Games (TCP) - passwords - Mar 6, 2017
So i'm fairly new to packets and what not and I was just wondering if there is any tool you would recommed for packet sniffing TCP packets.
I wanted to sniff packets from Minecraft as my first project and I tried doing it with wireshark but there was aloooot of different packets going in and out and I couldnt pinpoint anything.
So I am looking for something more simple.
Any suggestions?

Wireshark is a great packet sniffer. one of the best. although you were probably a little overwhelmed because you've never seen it before. i completely understand i was like you a while ago. although i recommend pursuing the way of wireshark, once you learn how to use it it will be extremely useful and can easily solve all your needs. i would recommend either looking for tutorials here on hf or even on youtube there are a few tutorials.

I would recommend WPE Pro if you are looking to Capture, intercept, and modify them.
