Need Help With Dot Net Transition - Mendax47 - Mar 7, 2017 I Wanna Do A BackColor Transition Of 3 Color Color.Red, Color.LimeGreen, Color.Aquamarine... And A Time Delay Of 0.5 Sec.. So I Did This... Transition.run(this,"BackColor", Color.Red, new TransitionType_Linear(500)); Thread.Sleep(500); Transition.run(this,"BackColor", Color.LimeGreen, new TransitionType_Linear(500)); Thread.Sleep(500); Transition.run(this,"BackColor", Color.Aquamarine, new TransitionType_Linear(500)); Thread.Sleep(500); But The Thread.Sleep Doesn't Work... Don't Know Why.. Please Help Me.... * - Zilog80 - Mar 7, 2017 Maybe a stupid question (sure...🤣). What the hell is Transition.run()? I'm really sure this is not part from 'standard' .NET Framework and maybe is something you found somewhere * - Barret - Mar 7, 2017 (Mar 7, 2017 02:32 PM)Zilog80 Wrote: Maybe a stupid question (sure...🤣). What the hell is Transition.run()? Ehhhh...what he said. never in my time of .net have i seen such method. ❓ * - BahNahNah - Mar 7, 2017 I dont know anything about the transition library, but I assume the thread.sleep "doesn't work" is because the transitions run on a different thread. With a very quick look though the code, it looks like you can queue transitions something like this: https://github.com/UweKeim/dot-net-transitions/blob/master/Transitions/Transition.cs#L79 * - +Haze - Mar 7, 2017 If the naming conventions and in consistencies isn't a dead give away that it's not part of the standard .net library then I don't know what will. * - hfTP54 - Mar 9, 2017 There is a method to queue them but I say make ur own it's too messy. * - BahNahNah - Mar 11, 2017 (Mar 11, 2017 12:58 AM)Visual Freedom Wrote: Why should this cause problems? I have no idea what you are asking. * - Cecilia - Mar 11, 2017 (Mar 11, 2017 12:58 AM)Visual Freedom Wrote: Why should this cause problems? It would block the UI thread, thus failing to create the 'transition' effect that the OP wanted. |
