User Ashitaka posted several times that he needed a Java developer to complete some assignments for his class.

We agreed on a price of $20 BTC after completion. However the user just disappeared after the job was done and I haven't heard anything since.

I think what the user has done here is contacted multiple Java developers at the same time and got them all to work for him for those 70 minutes or so, and since not any single developer completed all 5 tasks before any of the other developers I think he's trying to wriggle out of payment. However in our agreed terms there was nothing about completing all of the 5 tasks, and I did put all of my 70 minutes into use to help him with this.
I think I'm going to contact his school if he doesn't end up paying up.

I found the email of one of the people who I believe teaches his course or at least works in the same department so I'll email them soon if I don't receive payment.
