Good Resources For Kali Linux? - Delph - Mar 12, 2017 Hello, does anyone have any good resources for Kali Linux and penetration testing in general. Any books, lessons, guides, and other information would be helpful. Thank you in advance. 🤝 * - the1Non1y - Mar 12, 2017 somebody been watching mr robot * - tnt_time - Mar 13, 2017 just watch some youtube tutorial or go to a site named Udemy (warez disallowed) and buy a course * - vaiperboy - Mar 13, 2017 u wont find anything if u google "how to hack using kali" i'd recommend learning how to code first before anything else * - The2G - Mar 13, 2017 You should first learn about Computing in general... Coding, Networking, Computer Architecture. Penetration testing is not a easy task, should start with some easy "hacks" such as XSS or SQL Injection. But again, you first need to learn lot of things, unless you want to be an script kiddie and be always using other's tools etc... * - blurryfacce - Mar 13, 2017 Obviously, the Kali forums are a great resource. Other then that, Kali has a multitude of tools for a ton of different purposes. You have to have a reason or end-goal in mind. Do you just wanna get past wifi passwords? Aircrack, reaver, hashcat. Are you trying to get data from an HTTPS page? sslstrip, ettercap. Are you trying to perform exploits? nessus, metasploit. Each question requires different knowledge to perform. As Rubba said, you really need a foundation in technology, some things require more networking skills than others, just like other things require more social engineering than some. If you can be more specific about what you are looking to accomplish, we can help you better :) * - Greg8Tacos - Mar 13, 2017 go to the tuts section of HF and have a look. * - Delph - Mar 14, 2017 (Mar 12, 2017 09:00 PM)the1Non1y Wrote: somebody been watching mr robot Hehe.
