For my YouTube channel, I think that PPI may work very well, but only if I was able to actually allow the end user to download the actual software at the end.

I remember being on a site that I remember advertising you could upload whatever you wanted and then you would get paid when people would download your software. I assume they attached something to your file or something.

Why not just lock your download link with a locker from OGAds?

Because my viewers use desktop PCs and they frequently complained when I used survey download links.
Also, if something's optional, then they're more likely to go ahead with it than if it was something they were forced to do.

PPI sites generate revenue because the software publishers pay them for every download there advertisers bring them.
So they' be loosing out on money if they paid you to bring installs to your own software.

They generate revenue when optional software gets installed. That's why it's good to have my own software as the thing that gets installed at the end of the process.
