Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone would know anything about cracking a password protected encrypted winrar file and removing the password from the file.

Try to crack it with john the ripper. It works for me

IIRC the only way to accomplish such task would be to brute force.

Sometimes it is easier to find the source of the file and try the website link, which is often used as password.
