Maxim's lil One-Year Feedback - Mαxim - Mar 17, 2017 Posting this a few days earlier, time shall not go wasted. This is my first and will be my only feedback thread; I don't think that one's general opinion about Hack Forums changes after a few years. Don't expect a lengthy thread now, I am tired of typing after my most recent tutorial, so this will be short and sweet, I just want to bring up the things that I find interesting. Maxim's lil One-Year Feedback Site
First of all, the loading time; you cannot complain about it. Go to any other large forum, and you will be suicidal afterward and question what the hell they are doing with their site to have a page take 10-15 seconds to load. Secondly, how broad the forum is. It is not restricted to just one thing but instead has a section for everything, whatever it is your personal life or wanting to learn IT Security, it has it all. Rules
Been using the entire site for a long enough time to be able to tell all rules without looking at the Help Docs at this point. There are rules for everything on the forum, and they are so well-thought that one cannot simply argue against them. For etcetera, not allowing leaks, posting personal information, all sort of black hat activities and such. Looking at other forums that sort of serves the same purpose as Hack Forums, their rules are not well-thought, at all. Marketplace
I have never seen such a strong marketplace anywhere, where people fight to purchase a sticky and ad banner wherever and not only that, it is also more active than many other. The fact that Hack Forums does not allow leaks is one of many rules which makes the marketplace so great for everyone. And the fact that staffs are not wasting their time with deal disputes considering how messy they are and the amount of PMs they would get. But instead encourage users to deal with caution with everyone and use the tools that are provided such as trust scan, search function, deal dispute database, rep and much more is a smart move. Leadership
Yes I am talking about Da boss man, the savage. You gotta love seeing him roasting people who do something stupid, tries to tell him how to run his forum or whatever it is, always gives a laugh and most of the times end up like this: ![]() Then we have Staffs and Mentors, which are dealing with things perfect, they are never rude, always professional and on point. I have never seen any of them doing something wrong. I could probably provide more feedback on more things, but I feel like I gave an overview of my thoughts regarding the forum. Thanks for a great forum, it is one of a kind. * - Stellar - Mar 17, 2017 I could agree with every single point in this Feedback thread. Great thread Maxim. * - Prophett - Mar 17, 2017 I was expecting a list of shout outs considering most users include them. Great thread nonetheless; here's to two years! 🎉 * - Steve - Mar 17, 2017 Thanks for giving a shoutout to all of The moderators. We do our best and appreciate the support! Nice feedback thread :) * - Mαxim - Mar 17, 2017 Thanks guys. (Mar 17, 2017 02:43 PM)xadamxk Wrote: Oh yeah? I can change that 😎 Lmao. I stand corrected. * - Views - Mar 17, 2017 I got a good laugh at the leadership feedback and the graphics you made. I honestly thought you'd have been a member for longer, thanks for helping out Novica with a lot of stuff as well you two come off as the best/nicest/generous graphics artists on Hack Forums in my opinion hopefully you'll be around for many years to come. * - Sajuuk - Mar 17, 2017 Yes, the rules are so thought out. "Don't post about illegal shit." EDIT: My mistake. I may have taken "well-thought" as in structure instead of well being. * - Mαxim - Mar 17, 2017 (Mar 17, 2017 03:18 PM)Views Wrote: I got a good laugh at the leadership feedback and the graphics you made. Cool graphics dude, you really should make me a signature... you choose, I'll wear it. (HF rules apply) Why no shoutout for me, though? Aren't we basically brothers now? * - NurSpec - Mar 17, 2017 Fantastic read, thanks for your insight and congratulations on the 1 year. * - Mαxim - Mar 18, 2017 (Mar 17, 2017 04:55 PM)Nevieth Wrote: Why no shoutout for me, though?
