i got a message today saying that i need to activate it and it was disabled two days ago wtf i haven't been on HF for a while what disabled it ?

He disabled them all due to thousands of people losing access to their accounts. This was more than likely a one time thing.

Because they don't know how to back up their 2fa, when they lose access to their phone it's all over for them.
