This should be interesting to see if they are bullshitting or not.
Thanks for the share :)

I've gotten hacked by someone on a carding site, and the email and password was my personal one where I've found zero databases on.

Thankfully he was kind enough not to format my phone.

Either way, you guys should change your passwords to be safe.

Interesting, I'm not too worried, however, I want to see if they are actually going to be doing this.

I think its bullshit to be honest. And if its not, so be it. I don't use icloud services since I'm an android fanboy. Good luck to those who might have their shit wiped!

I agree I am not that worried but still I think it would be safe to just change it anyways.

;). I like iPhones. I just don't like paying for things. On Android, I can at least root most of the phones I get and just use lucky patcher to get shit free. Beyond that, I think the simplistic and minimalist design of iPhones and other iDevices comes in handy for those who don't want a lot of customization or nonsense. I'm glad to see Apple slowing catching up to the game though. I will say one good thing about them is they don't have any new features until they are sure they work 100%. Unlike android where sometimes they will add a feature that ends up being buggy.

I don't think they will pay the hackers. Apple can hire hackers theirself and find out what the problem is in the system itself.

No war when one is obv open and free while the other is meant to enslave it's users.

"$100,000 worth of iTunes gift cards"
Which is still only worth $75,000 to $80,000, so either way they want $75K

* - Not Your Average Orange - Mar 21, 2017

Can't Apple just force users to reset their passwords?

* - lalapwn - Mar 22, 2017

I call it bullocks. And no, they wont fall for it. they ahev other things to care about

Yea I think it is really wierd from them to request the giftcards. DOnt you think they can just block the codes afterwards.
