I thought it was enjoyable for the most part. I thought the second half was more enjoyable due to certain plot elements being introduced while the first half was a little slow for me (besides the action scenes, cause those were great). Now that I've seen the movie, I'm more inclined to watch the anime

Actually I am really looking forward to this, since it is not in cinema in my country yet, but it should be really soon! It looks like a pretty cool movie and I love the future, high-tech Japan like enviroment. And as an anime fan, I can't go wrong with this, I suppose.

I heard from my friend that it absolutely blew anime tiddies.
He watched it on premier night and only 5 people were watching it. All of them were texting on their phones cause it was that bad.

everyone is griping about the 'whitewashing' which i don't get seeing as the only person in there that looks Asian is Saito, the rest look white, so what's the big deal? I'm going to see this movie, looks interesting

watching the anime before watching the movie might leave you wanting
the whitewashing wasn't as big of a deal as the choice in actor, I personally wish lucy lawless had been picked as major kusanagi
can't wait to see them butcher death note next
