Automatically update a thread on HF using Python? - Skidy - Apr 3, 2017

Saw another user do it.

How would one do this using Python? You would have to login using Python and 2FA, then send a request to update it??

The 2FA part can be a little hard to code, but in general you are right.
Just send a login request, get the session cookies and then send a request to post.

However, I'm pretty sure that it's not allowed to auto post on HF, keep that in mind.

The only problem is login, afterwards is easy just mimic all requests and have fun.But i saw omni's post couple days before for some user, he's not like automate stuffs on hf.

As others have said you just need to login and then it's fairly easy. If you are using aiohttp you can login after opening a session and then that session will save your login until its closed.

Omni is releasing the Ub3r API soon.
Until then it's not recommended to use applications to interact with HF.

* - Goodies - Apr 3, 2017

Omni discourages this (until the API is released) and provides no guarantee that you won't be banned (rate limited, etc).

I shall not do this then. Interesting I suppose.
