Unofficial Launch of Pixl - Webmasters & Entertainment - Muddy - Apr 9, 2017

This is an unofficial launch... I'm looking for a couple people to register and check out the site daily and feed me suggestions. I've just got the theme set up and server optimized. Later on, I'll start adding plugins and hiring a web developer to make custom features for the site but for now I have NewPoints up and running.

But yeah, if you'd like to join I'm giving awards to people that registered during beta stages. Please help by giving me suggestions. Domain and theme will be changed later.

I like the theme, i like the logo, i think it can take off if you dedicate some time to managing it.
Im lying in bed nearly dying right now but ill sign up tomorrow and poke around.
Ofc dont use a free domain but you said its temporary so thats cool.

Oh, not really a suggedtion but look into copyright problems because theres an edm artist who goes by PIXL so if you decide to monetize the forum/name then make sure there is no problems with copywriting or whatever. Maybe im just being paranoid idk im tired.

Remove those stars and use userbars (easiest method to remove them is to make transparent 1 x 1 pixel and replace the star image)

I love the theme and you seem to be focused on your niche, there's no marketplace(finally, most forums for some reason feel the need to add one) and you don't have other random topics.

I have one question though, why the name PIXL? How does that come into Web/Entertainment, sounds like a domain for graphic design.

EDIT: like the other guy said, you need to fix that MySQL issue asap, it's showing all your table names.

i didnt try to register yet bc of everyone elses problems with it but legit did u make ur name siphon
is this some kind of attempt to advertise a hacking forum without promoting the advertising part

SQL thing / registration problem has been fixed. Was having a problem with an approved MyBB plugin so I'll have to report that right away... Yes, the domain is temporary and it'll be changed to something nicer when I officially launch. It was a free domain I picked up.

It is the Supremeforums theme and I'm friends with the original owner so I guess I could say I have permission to use it. At least for the time being.

Hahah, no I don't have anything to do with hacking. It'll never be a hacking forum or have any blackhat discussion. registration problem has been fixed :)

I think you need to make it a bit more mobile friendly..

Another suggestion , The postbit doesn't looks that realistic . Make it align to the left side instead of making a long width of whole page .

Yeah we are ditching the horizontal postbit and I'll be forcing classic postbit soon. Thank you 👍

The last site I set up was just a MyBB copy on my server. It was never intended to go anywhere or serve any other purpose than as a demo site.

This one however will be permanent 🎉🎉🎉

So I upgraded my server today and worked on it for about an hour. The site is running a lot faster and a permanent block storage solution. A couple bugs were fixed and the postbit is forced to classic mode. Narrowed my domain list down to 5 so I'm still deciding on a good domain name. So far everything is looking good :)

Looks pretty good. Big fan of the sleek darkish look you have going on. Functions and looks pretty good for an un-official release.

I've got a big spending budget for advertising. When I choose a domain you'll hear our name often :)
