Anyway to change the ISP name on SpeedTest.net? Any Ideas? - FakeHTML - Apr 11, 2017

Hey, HackForums most likely a stupid question, although when I go to SpeedTest.Net is there any way to change the ISP name?

I was thinking maybe changing it via a DNS? Although not to sure how DNS works and etc, could someone help me out?

Thanks ✌

Don't know how except for if you use a VPN, but why would you want to do this?

Although if you use a VPN tho the VPN that's been set automatically has a preset ISP tho, so it wouldn't work.

It's not possible. Speedtest.net obtains your ISP through your IP Address. Changing DNS won't do anything.

If you're just trying to change it for a screenshot, use inspect element.

You can spoof the results anywho.

The ISP name is gained by checking the registeries who owns the IP address you're connecting from. So the only way to actually change that would be to use an IP registered to another ISP.
