Website cloning? - Commander 11:11 - Apr 25, 2017 Is there a tools for website cloning and then serving it on my PC? * - The Beep Beep Sheep - Apr 25, 2017 You can use Wget if you're on Linux. For Windows you'd have to Google for tools. Code wget --mirror --convert-links --adjust-extension --page-requisites --mirror – Makes (among other things) the download recursive. --convert-links – convert all the links (also to stuff like CSS stylesheets) to relative, so it will be suitable for offline viewing. --adjust-extension – Adds suitable extensions to filenames (html or css) depending on their content-type. --page-requisites – Download things like CSS style-sheets and images required to properly display the page offline. --no-parent – When recursing do not ascend to the parent directory. It useful for restricting the download to only a portion of the site. * - pomwtin - Apr 25, 2017 What about opening it in browser and saving it ? * - Anne Marie - Apr 25, 2017 Take a look at Httrack. Its really fast. * - [BLANK] - Apr 25, 2017 (Apr 25, 2017 01:01 PM)Anne Marie Wrote: Take a look at Httrack. Its really fast. This was going to be my suggestion. Just remember that the site you are cloning may be using internal resources you don't have access to. You may need to modify the code to get resources to load. For instance say a resource being called on the site is "/image/zerocool.png" well that doesn't work for you because that is a local resource for the web server. So you need to modify it as "www.clonedsite.com/image/zerocool.png" which should load the image assuming it has open permissions. * - Dr. Gonzo - Apr 25, 2017 check out darcy ripper, its what marketers use to clone landing pages and shit * - kpown - Apr 25, 2017 There's a tool that comes with SET (social engineering toolkit) * - Mirakuru - Apr 25, 2017 I would recommend Teleport Pro. * - Rushax - Apr 26, 2017 HTTrack all day long. Reliability is really good, and copying speed is really quick. I get a load of requests to duplicate a site with certain changes here and there and I always use HTTrack. |
