Need Android&IoS App made - FaberCastell - Apr 26, 2017

UPDATE: Only need APP for Android. Can be in Java or javascript or whatever

So i need rather simple app made for both android and IOS.

I don't know what is the best way to do it, i think it can be coded in javascript and it will work on both platforms?

Well all it is is basically registration and then login to member area where there will be several few options.

PM me if you can do this and approximate price please.

What about a website? This is way easier?!

* - FaberCastell - Apr 29, 2017

I need an app. If you make the website and it can be easily embedded into the app and it's fully functional, that's ok.

PM me with more details about this.

You can open the website inside the app using webviews.

If it has a login system you also need someone to write the web api, aside from the mobile platforms.

What do you mean web api... If my website worked normally, it wouldn't in webviews?

Webview is probably a component is mobile application development. It is used to open webpages within mobile applications.

You will need a web API to send requests to to process your login/sign up form. Some imaginary tasks: Create users in database, check if username and password are correct, etc. You'll need a back-end dev to make this happen. Some front-end devs know how to put up a basic API enviroment.

This is not that hard to make

Lol... please don't chime in your input if you're not sure what you're talking about.

Webview would be pointless... Why make an app that has a webview and links to a website. This is pointless and would be instantly rejected by apple if you're submitting it to the stores.

If you're looking to make this in javascript then use nativescript, it'll build both platforms (ios/android). As for everyone talking about writting some backend, and having to deal with the headache of security, no need for that... just use some dev platform like firebase to store users.

This could be done an hour by someone who's familiar with that stuff ^. I've never used nativescript, but I could build you an ios version with xcode quickly.

still need this done however it would have been done

Hey Faber,

We can do this, Can you please PM with detailed requirements of project? I'll love to work with you :)

* - FaberCastell - May 14, 2017

Updated the thread, i only need it for Android at the moment. I might need the IOS version later on and if the job is done properly you'll get to do that as well!

* - Khamul - May 14, 2017

I can do this as you only need Android right now. Ill do this in Java, should only take me a few hours, maybe a day depending on the complexity of your member area. I can extensively comment the code for better understanding if you need me to and I'll be using the MVP architecture to make everything clearer and more testable.

I'll make use of firebase authentication and realtime database for storing member data.
