Open window in the background? - Skidy - Apr 30, 2017 So when I open a graph window (matplotlib), it stops my shell. My shell pauses while the graph is opening. How do I stop this? I want the graph to open AND be able to continue with the shell. Tried using threading on plt.show() which shows the graph but it still halts the shell. * - HFDone - Apr 30, 2017 its call topmost and it depends on wich gui library * - .kr. - Apr 30, 2017 Try a other thred https://docs.python.org/3/library/threading.html * - Skidy - May 1, 2017 (Apr 30, 2017 10:48 PM).kr.
