Six year anniversary today - Tonight - May 5, 2017
Happy cinco de mayo, y'all
Just checking in for my annual feedback but I'll keep it short and sweet this year
In the broad sense of things, HF is thriving and as the older members die off, new members take their places and start their own legacies
It's cool to see all the new projects and groups and all that run by newer members but it definitely makes me reminiscent of the "glory days" as I still recall them and anyone else from 2011 - 2013 would as well
The staff and administrators still do an amazing job of keeping the site in check and that's something that's always remained true since my registration so thank y'all
The forums as a whole aren't dying as lots of people have complained, they're just evolving with the newer generation taking over the majority of the member base here
Although I don't find myself posting as much as I used to, I still see some good threads pop up here and there
I'm not going to get into the new features because I'm not all that familiar with them, but I'm thankful the old userbars are back and I like the idea of this new r3kt group. I think it would be cool to see a r3kt subforum so we could all chat in one place.
Uh, I think that's about as broad as I can be while still remaining honest and coherent so I'll leave it at that
Maybe for my sixth year I'll stumble across my sixth award and finish this row finally, but who knows

Nice short feedback thread with some insightful comments. As you said it's nice to see some newer members be able to fill the voids of oldfags that have died out.

Reading this really brings in to perspective how quick time can fly, my 6 year is comming up in a few months and it still seems like just the other month I joined and was asking about IRC attack scripts to attack my damn own chat network. 🤣
