Noob Question : When a currency crashes will it rise fast? - JAS - May 8, 2017 If a currency crashes will it rise fast? My plan is to look and study currency's and transfer my money and take advantage of the exchange rates. * - Denzel Washington. - May 8, 2017 When a currency crashes sometimes it'll rise slow, sometimes fast. * - BTNH - May 9, 2017 Use MACD to figure out when crashes are fake. * - [▲■●] - May 9, 2017 (May 9, 2017 06:47 AM)BTNH Wrote: Use MACD to figure out when crashes are fake. Use a trailing momentum indicator to figure out when crashes are fake ... Good plan. Sounds foolproof. * - Sors - May 9, 2017 Honestly, it's really dependant on the specific currency and what news/events are upcoming and whether they're on, above or below target like GDP etc. or whether it's a positive impact on the countries economy or not. There's a large number of factors that can strengthen or weaken a currency tbh that you need to know so I'd recommend doing your research on these and what can causes crash. Another suggestion is constantly keeping an eye on the financial sectors of newspapers. There's no easy answer really but in short, no it's not normally quick from my experience but it can be. The best thing to do is to keep an eye on what's coming up which will be relevant or influential to the currency. * - Eagerkid - May 10, 2017 Lots of things effect the prices of currencies * - Grey Goose - May 11, 2017 It's something you can't calculate you to know. There is a lot more behind it than just calculation. Why did it crash? And how bad did it crash? Do you have money enough for speculate against it - Like what happend in Switzerland in 2015. * - Sectoral - May 11, 2017 Crashes indicate many impacts. Mostly it's fundamental impacts that cause a currency to fluctuate that much. For example the Non-Farm Payrolls cause the USD to fluctuate. Thanks. * - BTNH - May 12, 2017 (May 9, 2017 07:15 AM)[▲*****●] Wrote: Use a trailing momentum indicator to figure out when crashes are fake ... Good plan. Sounds foolproof. Don't use it then.
