Recruitment Thread

Eclipse is a group of members that work together to share knowledge within our sub-forum to learn from and use to help contribute to the community of Hack Forums in any and every way possible.

Requirements:

We are now allowing members to be accepted to our group, our specific requirements vary based on the member but here are our general guidelines:
  • Around 60+ posts per month of your account's age
  • No LQP or Harassment Warnings
  • No legitimate open or unresolved scam reports
  • No trolling or flaming other members
  • Acceptable grammar needed

We will also examine your threads, posts, rep, and other members' general opinion of you before we decide whether or not to invite you.

Note: We require our members to be very active and participate in all group activities, if you're not constantly and consistently online on Hack Forums than Eclipse isn't the group for you.

  • I have never looked into groups before but always pottered around HF, My first year back in 2013 was my most active then ever since i just came on every now and then but I am back for good now HF has been reformed and the group itself looks interesting.
Why should we invite you to the group:
  • I am a very social person who is just looking to help others while learning at the same time, I feel i can bring my knowledge of RAT support to either educate others or keep them safe but at the same time find a nice group to just have fun and a laugh with.
    This is not the first group I have applied for but this is well within what I am looking for in a group and never heard anything negative about it.

I am currently in Notorious. However, I have only been in it for a couple of days.


Why do you want to join Eclipse:
I would love to join Eclipse because it seems like a really cool
community to be in. I love to learn new things, which I feel I will be able to do
in this group because i'm sure the members have some incredible knowledge.
As well as this, I would also love to teach whenever I can, whenever I know
something that someone needs help with, I always love to help them out. I
always try to post high quality posts and threads and hope to be able to do this
under the groups name. I really enjoy participating in discussions on
HackForums in general and in sub forums. I am very active so I would love to
join this group to have more discussions available for me to participate in.
I also love the groups graphics. It would be great having them by my name. I
really enjoy meeting new people and joining this group would give me the
change to meet a lot of new people who have have knowledge that I can also
learn from.


Why should we invite you to the group:
I am a very active member on HackForums which is one thing you
said we really needed to be. I always try my best to post high quality posts and
threads and will continue to do this. I will always participate in group activities
and discussions and look forward to doing so if I do get the opportunity to join
this group. I love to meet new people and I am easy to get along with so I
should be able to get on with everyone in the group and hopefully work
together on things. I am a very loyal person, I would never do anything to
harm the group in any way. I am active now with college on, in around 6 weeks,
I will have a 9 week holiday which means I will be even more active.


Contributions:
I don't have many contributions at the moment. However, I hope to contribute
to HackForums, I just need ideas on how to do that, maybe I will get some
opportunities while in the group to do so.

Why do you want to join Eclipse:
  • I want to join Eclipse because I want to provide high quality contributions to your group, and under the name, brand and banner of your group to the HackForum's community as well. The knowledge, skills and talents I can teach have been gained from my studies in the past two years, as well as experiences I have had in my past. I will first talk about my studies, and the knowledge I can share to other members from them.

    Firstly, I have been studying ICT / Computer Science for 2 years at college. The Computing subject is a subject that I have a lot of passion and interest for. This passion has made me carve a path for my future career in the ICT industry. During college, I have gained an abdunance of knowledge within different areas. Some examples of the areas I have became knowledgable in are: Computer System Security & Support, Computational Thinking, Programming (Visual Basic / C#) and Web Development (Basic HTML/CSS). I feel like I can spread the knowledge I have gained to the Eclipse and HackForum's members, to help them broaden their knowledge too.

    I also understand that it is a skill itself to teach, or rather articulate. I know I can teach others to become knowledgable in the same areas that I am, through my own easy to follow and understandable delivery methods.

    Furthermore, in my past I have created, managed and adminstrated gaming servers for games such as Garry's Mod. I was responsible creating and configuring the server, adding files/addons and creating my own addons. In addition to this, I managed a team of staff and attracted donations to sustain and maintain the server without affecting my own pocket. Lastly, I also administrated multiple servers to maintain and increase the user experience of my players, through kicking and banning players according to set guidelines.

    All of this is something I had to learn over a long period of time. I started at the bottom being a general player, and made my way to becoming essestinally the Co-Owner and running multiple servers for the community. I can share my leadership and game-server knowledge.

Why should we invite you to the group:
  • The reason why you should invite me to Eclipse, is because I have an abdunance of knowledge to share within different areas. If we want ICT / Computer Science teachings, I can provide that. If we want game-server knowledge, skills, tips and information, I can share that too.

    The knowledge and experiences I have had over the last 5 years have made gained me these knowledges and experiences due to hard work and studying to become a knowledgable individual who can articulate his knowledge to others, so they can become knowledgable in the shared areas too! Being able to teach others and share what I know would be really rewarding, as I feel like I would be contributing much more than just threads and posts. Knowledge is powerful and I want others to have knowledge postitively influence them from what I serve.

  • Eclipse appears to be a good group. It's active and I have yet to see anyone act like a shit head while wearing the Eclipse userbar. I believe this group is quality over quantity.
