NSA Tool Abused By Hackers Biggest Attack In History Today! - p0isoNx - May 12, 2017

I would update your windows pc's if i was you!

"The malware believed to be behind Friday’s massive ransomware cyberattack appears to exploit a Windows vulnerability that Microsoft Corp. patched almost two months ago—underscoring how companies can fall dangerously behind the curve if they don’t stay up to date with vital software security patches.

Security experts say having access to the latest software updates and patches is a separate matter from actually implementing those updates across a corporate network.

“Software patching has always been a problem amongst most organizations, as patches usually require testing before being deployed to hundreds and thousands of devices,” said Nicole Eagan, chief executive of cybersecurity firm Darktrace, based in Cambridge, U.K., and San Francisco."

Confirmed - wcry ransomware spreading across Europe uses EternalBlue/MS17-010/SMB. PATCH NOW EVERYWHERE.

Ransomware seems to be growing in size. Someone randomly taking your files an encrypting them, then forcing you to pay it is really low in my opinion.

But hold on, you can't infect yourself if you don't use an SMB server right?

* - iPwned - May 12, 2017

This shit is crazy, how has it gone cross-platform? Usually they are OS-specific, If it's a ransomware?

* - Jаson - May 12, 2017

How not to be hit by WCry 2.0: Apply MS17-010 immediately, remove NT4, 2000, XP-2003 from production, Firewall ports 445/139 & 3389. Simple.

That attack is insane! Holy crap, it spreads so damn fast. About 5 hours ago there were like 40k infected systems, now there are way more than 150k.

Just make sure SMBv1 is not running on your computer.
