This may be a total misunderstanding. Seems to me like the death of BTC is approaching. * - SIM-2273342 - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:44 PM)๖ۣۜDominate Wrote: You should include his skype so we know its not an impersonator. The Skype conversations show that we both confirmed the deal via PM on here as well. I will keep it private until further notice. * - Stealth™ - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:44 PM)That One Random Wrote: I'm not defending him in any way but I sent a few payments to people two days ago with BTC and they are all either pending or entirely gone such as this one: This, the blockchain has been fucked up recently. * - SIM-2273342 - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:44 PM)That One Random Wrote: I'm not defending him in any way but I sent a few payments to people two days ago with BTC and they are all either pending or entirely gone such as this one: I chose against waiting as I decided that it was crucial the community be warned, hence not opening a deal dispute yet. If he hadn't changed his status to online, read the message, and went back to ignoring my messages, perhaps this would not have been opened. For now, though, this is merely for protective purposes. It was for a 3 page assignment, that takes me about 30 minutes to an hour. 3. If losing out on $40 is what it takes to warn the community, so be it. Plus, it should be noted that the payment was there for a couple days and now it is completely gone. The transaction ID was similarly non-existent. * - Lord - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:46 PM)Romania Wrote: I chose against waiting as I decided that it was crucial the community be warned, hence not opening a deal dispute yet. I see your point there and I totally understand your decision. I'm just saying don't jump to conclusions. BTC Has been severely fucked the past few days. So basically the same thing that happened here? https://blockchain.info/tx/8928a00a3fba27abba7a22f53d2b960b6e3be7f00d3272958d33c511ecd7c016 * - SIM-888979 - May 12, 2017 It wasn't double spent, it stopped broadcasting because Blockchain.info does not broadcast transactions for more than 72 hours if they are unconfirmed. * - Parks - May 12, 2017 So how long ago did this deal happen... doubt he would try scamming for $40.. * - SIM-2273342 - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:50 PM)Aurora Wrote: It wasn't double spent, it stopped broadcasting because Blockchain.info does not broadcast transactions for more than 72 hours if they are unconfirmed. Ah, that might make some sense. My question, though, is whether or not the money will be cleared and will be in my BTC wallet. It is not pending at all anymore so. The BTC was supposed to be sent three days ago, I have yet to send him the document as I am awaiting payment. * - Spartan- - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:50 PM)Aurora Wrote: It wasn't double spent, it stopped broadcasting because Blockchain.info does not broadcast transactions for more than 72 hours if they are unconfirmed. This. You should rebroadcast the transaction - you can find out how by googling it. Fairly simple process that normally goes down straight forward. * - SIM-2273342 - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:48 PM)That One Random Wrote: I see your point there and I totally understand your decision. No, it did not say anything about being pruned or anything; instead, the txid link says that the transaction is unknown. (May 12, 2017 10:53 PM)Spartan- Wrote: This. Aftermath is one of the most HQ members on this forum, I highly doubt that this report is anything more than a misunderstanding. He would not compromise his account for $40. * - SIM-2273342 - May 12, 2017 (May 12, 2017 10:53 PM)Spartan- Wrote: This. The problem is that I do not have the txid link anymore; thus, I cannot use it to rebroadcast it. I have decided to close this thread until further notice.
