Tips for moving to the USA? - Vezel - May 13, 2017 So im thinking about moving tfrom Sweden to the USA after im done with college. Has someone here done the same thing and have some tips for me about preparation and stuff? Does anyone have any knowledge on how hard/easy it is to get a VISA? * - BRΞNDΞN - May 13, 2017 If you need any advice, PM me. I have only ever lived in the U.S my whole life and can give you tips. * - Prophett - May 13, 2017 Don't get shot. Good luck! * - BRΞNDΞN - May 13, 2017 (May 13, 2017 03:55 PM)Medd Wrote: Don't get shot. Good luck! Yeah I'll do that tomorrow, thanks (: * - Grim - May 13, 2017 Well you speak english so thats a huge plus already. Other then that why do you want to come to the US? what makes you think that its better then sweden * - BRΞNDΞN - May 13, 2017 OP it would help if you gave us a location. The U.S is less like a country, and more like a collection of little countries united under one flag. Each state has it's own laws, it's own cultures, and it's own features. You can be in Arizona where our biggest grocery store (aside from walmart), is Fry's. Then go to Southern California and it's Ralph's. The U.S is a very weird animal, a lot of different things. Hell I'm American and I don't know half of the shit we have here. * - Judge. - May 13, 2017 Don't. You'll thank me.. But on a serious note, if you can survive the amount of idiotic people here that will judge a person for what job they have or by the color of their skin then by all means come. Plenty of job opportunities here. * - BRΞNDΞN - May 13, 2017 (May 13, 2017 03:59 PM)Slтн lояD Wrote: Well you speak english so thats a huge plus already. This country is just one big clusterfuck of stupid. * - Vezel - May 13, 2017 (May 13, 2017 03:59 PM)BRΞNDΞN Wrote: OP it would help if you gave us a location. Really the place with best job opportunities in programming. (May 13, 2017 03:59 PM)Judge. Wrote: Don't. You'll thank me.. It's to "little", I hate the people here. Everyone say that Swedish people are nice, well we are not.. I also want something completely new to me. This isn't something I came up with overnight, I've thought about this since I was ~10-12 * - Phosmand - May 13, 2017 Why'd you leave SWE for USA? What the hell * - BRΞNDΞN - May 13, 2017 (May 13, 2017 04:04 PM)Phosmand Wrote: Why'd you leave SWE for USA? Not as well as say, someone from Cali, but I live right next to Cali and have been there multiple times. Kind of like my second home. If you're looking to be a programmer, move to San Fran though. Just note, if you hate rude self-loving people..you're gonna hate SF. AND DO NOT EVER FUCKING GO TO LOS ANGELES. FUCK THAT CITY TO HELL. Ahem, rudest people on the planet. Scummy. Overpriced. You have a great chance of having your house broken into. An even better chance of having your car stolen. Traffic is so bad you have to leave for work 2 hours early. That city could eat a bag of dicks. * - Trevor Phillips - May 13, 2017 Make friends at any local McDonalds and always carry a gun with you because people like to shoot at each other for fun, because it's just a prank bruh. Also, don't move to America. Thanks bb. |
