I can't disclose this publicly, but your best bet is most likely correct. All hits are added over said time, the more purchased the more time they will take to deliver. 1,000,000 hits estimated without any accelerators would take a couple of weeks to a month, possibly 2 months. The entire time from purchase, hits will be received. It's simply the sheer number of hits bought in combination with your acceleration add-ons (if any) that change the estimated time taken. For example, 50x acceleration would most likely take 2-3 weeks for 1,000,000 Views.
I am planning to add a much larger hit acceleration option, hopefully be able to deliver 1,000,000 within half a week or so.

You may possibly get a few ad.fly hits, but I can not guarantee anything as I haven't tested this before, similarly with Adwords.
