Critical Care / Almost died - glitchgxd - May 24, 2017
So I had tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy the other day and ended up bleeding after I got home.
Long story short they redid surgery at the ER / cauterize the wound and they hit a blood clot and I started heavy bleeding. Had to wake up up from gen anesthesia and started throwing up blood all over the OR. Now karma kicks in because I'm o- blood and donate. So they stabilize me but I dipped bp to 70/40 a couple times nearly going into cardiac arrest barely holding on.
But I made it through and forced myself to breathe and not give into the "sleep".
All in all it's even an eventful past two days. They switched me from morphine to dilaudid drop so I'm doing good now. Feeling pretty blessed to be alive.
That's my week so far how is everyone else? Lol

Thanks! Honestly it's surprising. I'm appreciating things more but I'm not sure if it's just immediate post-experience or if I'm going to hold onto this and keep my appreciation

This sounds like a horrible but also valueable experience because i think it wouldve changed my view on life drastically.. Glad you made it through this and i hope you have a quick recovery

God gave you a second chance for a reason, use it wisely also, I've been doing alright I suppose, got a few haters there and then, have shit load of exams but, you get used to it by being amazing and cool.

Yeah the hater thing is a bit childish. This guy here knows nothing about you so if he starts criticizing something you say and speaks his mind, doesn't automatically make him a "hater".
