Being accused of going on a scamming spree. - Ultra Instinct - May 25, 2017

A member accused me of going on a scamming spree when I've never scammed anyone or do I ever plan on scamming anyone. What should do I do now? Should I contact a admin? Thanks in advance.

did he put the word scammer in your rep?
did he post a community alert thread about it?

if the answer to both of those is no, move on and forget about it.
if yes, you should contact staff.

Quote:How do I report an invalid scammer reputation?
We suggest you send them a Private Message informing them of site policy and the consequences unless they alter the reputation within 24 hours. Give them that time to alter it. Do not report the reputation to an admin until that 24 hours has passed. Do not threaten the member in the PM. Instead copy/paste this:

I am sending this PM to you because you've given me an invalid scammer reputation. Policy dictates that I send this text to you. HackForums policy requires that all scammer inferences in reputation require a link to a Deal Dispute forum thread that you have created. Either you didn't leave a link or the link you did leave is to a thread not created by you. As such you have 24 hours to alter your reputation to be within policy. Failure to do so will result in your reputation being reported to an admin which can result in severe action against your account. If you'd like to confirm this policy please read this help doc:

This is what he said. "Someone should create an alert, looks like he's going on a scamming spree."

You've already got your answer above.

Contact staff and they will take care of.

Wop wop wop.
Read the quoted part on my previous post. The instructions are clear.

yep.. i see the rep, he said "scamming spree" in the text, so contact the guy asking him to change it or post a deal dispute thread, then if he doesnt answer contact staff and just wait for them to do something about it.

Not allowed he is inferring that you're scamming. This is rep abuse. He has to link to a deal dispute he's created for it to be valid.

Follow the "reporting invalid rep" steps in the Help Docs.
