Is it possible to use an animated gif profile pic or just siggy? - kpown - May 26, 2017
Hey guys
I often see animated gif siggies but i was wondering if animated gif for avatar is possible?
The reason I ask is because my current profile pic is a gif that is supposed to be animated but when I put it as my hf profile pic it is now frozen into an image.
Any ideas?

It's definitely possible, but I don't know why yours isn't working.

It doesn't blink, but the eyes occasionally move. It represents the fact the he is always watching - that he is Omniscient.

The file on my desktop is named avi.gif
When I try to open it with windows photo viewer it's a still image, when I open it with a browser it's a moving gif
When I directly used the image on my desktop as a I on HF it's a still image
What do i do?

Try putting this url in where it says Avatar URL: https://i.imgur.com/YaEEhGU.gif
Then hit change avatar.
