I hope this would prevent new people from digging up posts 5 fucking years back.
I see this at least once a week, maybe change the close time to 3 months.

Why? Grave digging isn't against the rules as long as you post something relevant.

If this were to happen it wouldn't be something as small as one or three months. That said, I doubt this will ever be implemented.

After a few months? Thats really dumb. After a year, then it would seem reasonable. But regardless there are some things that are timeless. There may be better iterations of the post, but it could have just been what the user found using the search function.

Well, this forum is for discussing and there are no rules for grave digging tbh.
Members are allowed to grave dig as long as the post contributes to the topic and such.
I don't see this being implanted because it makes no sense.

As the users above me already mentioned, grave digging is not against the rules as long as your post (and the thread) are relevant or contributing in one way or another.
If someone starts grave digging in the lounge for example, simply report them and let staff take care of it.

Threads are locked if the grave dig is not relevant to the thread or for example, OP is closed like 2 years ago or something.
Suggested and denied many many many times before.
