Calling someone a scammer in signature? - Leroy Jethro Gibbs - May 30, 2017

So I've been following a deal dispute involving the member Jendo. He has set his signature to the following.

I know the Help Docs it says this.

Quote:Someone is flaming me or calling me a scammer in their signature. What can I do?
Contact staff please. We'll look into it.

What exactly does this mean? Is it against the rules or does it depend solely on if someone is being flamed?

Also, wouldn't the signature also be considered a rep volation since he is complaining about rep and essentially asking for rep to post in the marketplace?

Seems to me that the rule that you quoted is pretty clear. If Boxxy wants to contact a staff he or she can do so.

Not really. It's close to it, but all he does is stating things.

Flaming nor calling someone a scammer is disallowed in signatures, pretty much.
Linking a Deal Dispute and saying "Scammed by..." is a violation as far as I can tell.

Alright. Just checking. I knew I've seen people get in trouble for shit like that in the past. I just wanted to clearify before I warn that user about his signature.

Also, considering it's against the rules to report potential reputation Abuse on behalf of another member, you should let boxxy handle it.

If boxxy wants to boxxy can follow what you quoted in the rules and contact Staff. That's all there is to it.
