Rough or Smooth mouse pad? - Zherk - Jun 5, 2017

I'm finally getting the setup I've been envisioning piece by piece, and wanted to know what kind of extended mouse pad texture you guys prefer. I plan on getting one custom made so I kind of don't wanna go wrong with it. Thanks in advance!

Get one that best suites your mouse. Opticals like smooth, while laser like rough textures.
Do some research before buying! I prefer optical bc faster reaction times but that's just my preference

I use a steelseries qck (Cloth~)

Semi-smooth? This corsair pad (drops down to $14.99 sometimes). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01798VS4C/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I3ED9MHSZ2Q2BE&colid=1BAYGI8843QOA

Not sure if you call a woven pad rough or not.

I personally use razer goliathus control, It has a cloth texture and works very well with my razer naga.

I personally use the Ducky Flipper EXTRA mouse pad. Its a extended mouse pad and in my opinion doesn't feel rough, its more on the smoother side.

I got corsair MM800 Polaris, it's quite a rough scratchy texture but the movement is so fluent with the mouse, it works incredibly well together.
Better than fabric mousepads I've had
