Drop from High School - fabio19674 - Jun 25, 2017 As I remember myself since I was 9 I hated the school never did homework, I do not consider myself as smart either as dumb, I enjoyed reading books since I was 8 but the whole thing with the school wasn't for me I didn't go to school for days since like 9 y/o. And now at my 11 class in feeling like I should drop out having too much to learn and I do not learn anything of it have too many tests I feel like I will fail and will have to do the class once again. I Don't want to work as high tech or smth cause I feel like that's not for me. Should I drop? * - Ger₥ - Jun 25, 2017 I dropped out of highschool and now i play rs all day in my moms basement and smoke hella blunts id say it was worth * - Freakyy - Jun 25, 2017 No, You shouldn't. You're not the only person who has to go to school and you shouldn't quit because you're not the only one who hates school. Just get it over with. You see the thing is that i feel i won't work as someone who needs this diploma,I'm not interested in working whole day for some money i consider those people prostitutes of the system * - possomman - Jun 25, 2017 Don't drop. Finish. Dropping out won't get you anywhere if you don't already have a plan, and it doesn't sound like you do. * - Anticipate - Jun 25, 2017 Just finish HS. You'll regret not finishing that joke of a system when you're older, and wished you just kept going for another year. And for Christ's sake, it's a free education. Nothing shows lack of discipline like someone who doesn't have their HS diploma because of reasons other than being a genius or incredible opportunities elsewhere. * - kpown - Jun 25, 2017 (Jun 25, 2017 08:13 AM)Yung r0ma Wrote: You see the thing is that i feel i won't work as someone who needs this diploma,I'm not interested in working whole day for some money i consider those people prostitutes of the system This is the most incredibly stupid mindset I've ever heard in my life * - FamousHater - Jun 25, 2017 (Jun 25, 2017 08:10 AM)Freakyy Wrote: No, You shouldn't. At least get your diploma though. Just cause you march to the beat of your own drummer doesn't mean others aren't going to think of you as a nimwit for not finishing high school. And whether you like it or not, connections and what people think of you matters a lot in this world, especially if you expect to make bread without an education. * - Eagerkid - Jun 25, 2017 Some people dont work well in the school system. But I have found a TON of people want to drop out because Bill gates did and a lot of these billion/millionaires and that is totally the wrong idea. If you dont like school, then you should just man up and finish it. If school is not productive for you ( meaning you are smarter than the other students, or are doing other projects that you think in the future will excel then drop out ) HOWEVER, most people graduate high-school because its not hard to run a full time business and graduate. College is where it gets tough so you find a lot of smart drop outs. My guess is you should stay in school and at least finish highschool * - Underworldproblem - Jun 25, 2017 Someone mind explaining why people in first world countries that are provided free public education don't want to take advantage of it? People in developing or third world countries would die to just be in any sort of school. Besides that, at least get a high school diploma. * - Deany - Jun 25, 2017 (Jun 25, 2017 10:46 PM)Albertson Doge Wrote: Someone mind explaining why people in first world countries that are provided free public education don't want to take advantage of it? Lack of motivation/drive. * - Mr.Peanut - Jun 25, 2017 I'm not going to go into this right now but just remember that everyone is different. Everyone has their own motives, drives, and discipline. There are many real world factors, but anything is possible if you're committed enough. With that being said, I dropped out of highschool. Got my GED, enrolled in College and dropped. I'm doing really really well right now, I don't talk about it much but i'm doing better than any of my friends and things are really promising. I made the decision off many factors. Don't just drop without wanting to do something that's promising in your eyes and something you're good at. Always question things and be open to the reality compared to your perception. So much to write, I won't though. |
