My Basic Review:
The niche' is good - At least you have something less general and that can grow
Not custom at all - So far I see a free theme, more than likely free plugins and more freebies.
Ways to improve:
I suggest setting up and getting more custom plugins that match and fit the niche'.

If you would like I have licensed vbulletin and I am very experienced in it. Using a free forum makes it unprofessional.
