Does anyone have an opinion on Key Scrambler? - AdmiralHere - Jun 27, 2017

Hi, if you don't know what key scrambler is... The description of the program:

"The instant you begin typing, KeyScrambler begins encrypting each character at the keyboard driver level, deep in Windows OS. The timing and location makes bypassing KeyScrambler's protection difficult."

I haven't done any independant testing as of yet, but I wondered if anyone else has tried this for protection against RATs or Keyloggers... It seems pretty legitimate and the personal one is free to use, anyone had any experience or thoughts on this program? 👍

Looks cool, but it would be more efficient to just remove the keylogger completely, no?

EDIT: Maybe you don't know you have it lol

It's a preventative measure indeed, though I can vouch for checking whether you actually are being keylogged now and then as it can't hurt either. 😅

I wouldn't mind a look from a pro. ;) I'd prefer to use screenshare though if that's okay, haha... I looked in great detail and from what I can tell I'm clean as a whistle right now. Do you know if Key Scrambler's encryption can be decoded easily? Thanks for the opinion!

Lol yeah! I think that's the point behind the keylogger key scrambler, it's in the event you have one but are currently unaware whether it be from a java driveby, .jpg / binded rat or e.g. ... Sometimes it's not immediately noticable, especially if they know what they are doing. But yes, I agree 100% removing any and all keyloggers/rats is a must.

keyscrambler definitely helps I use it whenever I'm on windows
but a decent programmer could however just disable it while for you it would look like it's still working

Who is using keylogger anyways? Most people just use them for stealers function or just use RATs.

I agree sir but both are still in use. The keylogger function isn't usuable in the rat if the data is encrypted.

Good point, thank you for the suggestion sir. That's very true, I wonder if they have anything in place for that...

As I recall, keyscrambler can be taskmanager killed quite directly, but if that occurs, the icon goes too. So, Id use the free version, it cant hurt, I did test it once, with a tool designed to test a keyscramblers competitors protection.

And I tested keyscrambler with it, and it showed text scrambled so Id say its effective. :-)

just keep your computer safe, if someone could install a keylogger on your computer you can also have a password stealer on it...
