Hey HF family,
So it is that time of year again when I get my upgrade with Verizon and I need a new smartphone. Here are a few things I want, in the order of importance.
-Fast UI, my current droid turbo got laggy after a year, super annoying. Apps take forever to load
-good, high quality camera, with image optimization. I take a lot of photos both indoors and out, a good camera would be nice to have. My droid turbo had a good camera but the default camera app is crap, as is image stablization.
-Long lasting battery. I would like to be able to have a phone that last all day with moderate use.
Not sure what else, I was plannning on getting an Iphone 7 but then they took out the headphone jack.... so not gonna reward apple for a money grab business move

obviously samsung galaxy s8 is the best phone now but if you want a cheaper flagship search for xiaomi mi 6

I just got a Pixel yesterday, I switched from an iPhone and I love it. It's the first time I'm using a phone running android and I love it.
So I'd definitely recommend the Pixel, the pixel XL is too big for me. (like your dick, jk)

i have a samsung s8. and its fucking amazing, if you dont like touchwiz (they really improved it) you can change launchers

Touch wiz is still there even with a new launcher. Changing the launcher simply removes you from interacting with touch wiz but it's still there and it's far from stock.

I also have an s8, i truly recommend it, before i had a nexus 6p, it was awesome, but i think s8 is a better choice :)

The new s8 is safe right? When they came out they had exploding problems. The camera and interface look really nice on the s8, but I remember having an s3 years ago and two of them crapped out within a year.

I still prefer the iPhone7, since it sandboxes apps better. I have heard good things about the Google Nexus phones!

Honestly iPhone 7 plus.
Just buy Bluetooth headphones if you really need headphones while charging l. The speakers are also plenty loud

I mean the S8 or S8+ are better in basically every way but yeah.
