Should I get a CPU or GPU? - Copywriter - Jul 8, 2017

I'm buying an individual unit, which one do you think would increase the performance on games/fps better?

It depends on what you currently have, including PSU...
Also the games...
Also the resolution....

Need more info.

For singleplayer games upgrading the GPU should boost the fps as long as the CPU is not bottlenecking the GPU atm.
If you're looking to play multiplayer games and you're getting low fps even though you actually got a good enough GPU go ahead for the CPU.
Dont forget though that changing a CPU would require you to buy it under the same socket, or you'd have to change the board as well.

GPU would be better choice but as above stated, depends on your games and current set up.
