Chargebacked -$500 from 1-2 months ago - Sharjah - Jul 17, 2017 Got a call from my dad that an amazon code I sold about 2 months ago chargebacked on PayPal from eBay. Is anyone able to help resolve this for me? Don't wanna risk a $500 dispute but this is bull shit since it was on my dads business account * - Aqzxk - Jul 17, 2017 I'd advise getting in touch with the other party. I'd also advise that you gather as much proof as you can against his case, as well as giving PayPal a call. * - Mαxim - Jul 17, 2017 Cryptic is pretty good with PayPal. I am sure he will help you out if you catch him having spare time. * - Sharjah - Jul 17, 2017 (Jul 17, 2017 07:06 PM)wisconsin Wrote: I'd advise getting in touch with the other party. Last time this happened I was able to win one of them, but it was only a $115 dispute and PayPal told me normally there's a 99% chance that sellers lose these due to evidence they can not gather. Had to go on Amazon live chat and screenshot the chat as proof and all that, but still, I feel like there's an easier way than sending enough proof you can when it comes to Amazon cards. There just has to be an easier way. This is a business account made since 1998~ I believe. * - perm - Jul 18, 2017 An Amazon code? You mean you sold an Amazon gift card on eBay and the person charged back? * - Aqzxk - Jul 18, 2017 (Jul 17, 2017 07:35 PM)Vossen Wrote: Last time this happened I was able to win one of them, but it was only a $115 dispute and PayPal told me normally there's a 99% chance that sellers lose these due to evidence they can not gather. It's going to be extremely difficult to win your dispute, so the best option is getting it cancelled by the buyer. * - ProtectNull™ - Jul 18, 2017 2 months till he disputed it? What for? The code didn't work? If so why did it take 2 months for him to dispute it? * - vaiperboy - Jul 18, 2017 (Jul 18, 2017 06:25 AM)ProtectNull™ Wrote: 2 months till he disputed it? What for? But you may ask PayPal about the logic of chargeback after 2 months for this , if he disputed Item not as described or working . If he issued CB from his Card company then you already lost it , since it will never go to your favor if that's digital item . Did he left positive feedback on you for this trade ? * - Xepher The Cat - Jul 18, 2017 (Jul 18, 2017 05:17 PM)ß|Λcksí-íΛdΘw™ Wrote: That's very sad , but if its Digital delivery then you lost it . PayPal protects digital sellers now. Did he send it as good and services? * - test - Jul 18, 2017 Contact Amazon, explain your situation and kindly just ask if the code was redeemed and when it was redeemed. I'm not sure if they can provide that kind of information but it will help you immensely. |
