I am embarking on my Gundam journey - DerMensch24 - Jul 20, 2017
For too long I have pushed off my journey into the world of Gundam, having only one of them under my belt. As of today I will begin my journey, I do not know when I shall finish but finish I shall. I'm off to Universal Century 0079, wish me luck ;)

Thanks mate ;) I still have this Gundam chart from a while back that Japanese or someone else linked so for now I'm good. Although I might come back at some point if I need help with the chronology of the timelines (not necessarily the years they came out).

If I remember correctly you were only familiar with G Gundam right? If so then you're in for a world of excitement, especially since you're going through the UC timeline.

I just finished the original / 0079 yesterday . It had it's slow or boring parts but was also really good . Gonna watch war in my pocket 0080 and start zeta today

I like a lot of mecha Anime. Though I prefer one(s) with Mecha that are more "realistic". More like human-built, and not robots on their own you know.

MSG is as realistic as they get. Even the fan 3D art looks top tier.

So far its pretty good, and ye I'd agree with Japanese that they're pretty OG when it comes to design/aspects.
