Reputation For Marketplace - Omniscient - Jul 22, 2017

You no longer need a positive +1 or better reputation to post in the Marketplace. It's now set to allow a 0 (zero) reputation. However, if you have a negative reputation you won't be able to post.

This should alleviate some problems with new members not being to post in Marketplace and asking for reps or other nonsense.

Enjoy.

So many things happening in one day :).

Change is good, makes people active.

I believe that this was a smart decision you made. :)

Good decision in my opinion, however could also have some negative outcomes but we will see what happens. Hopefully this stops all of the dumb reputation threads.

Wow, you're making some big moves early in AM.

The entire reason I upgraded to l33t was to post in the premium section.

I felt at the time this was a decent idea, now it seems we are one of the largest marketplaces for digital goods and services, so it makes sense that allowance of anyone to utilize it is logical.

However, I feel this is also going to open a whole new can of worms when it comes to disputes and well... overall fuck ups in dealings. Hope it works out for the better.

Takes just one member to -1 them and they'd be unable to post in Marketplace.

Omni you are on fire today.

Definitely some negatives and positives on both sides with this change. I think overall it should help some newer members as I see countless threads asking the question 'How do I get reputation?'

* - Quinn. - Jul 22, 2017

Good choice, a lot of newbies getting scammed and can't post in the Marketplace.

Hopefully this sorts that out.

* - Mr. Robot - Jul 22, 2017

Not a huge change but should lift some of the issues for new members posting in marketplace.

This is for posting in the marketplace right and not making threads?

How about the deal dispute board?
The problem i see rather often is a new member calling out a scammer on the forum and that member is then - reps him and he wont be able to post on that thread because of that.

Wouldn't it be easier if anyone could post there even those who are in - rep? Or let's say have a - limit?

Either way, good change.

Nice change, less rep begging threads is good.

* - LanaDelRey - Jul 22, 2017

This is a good change, should decrease the amount of threads of new members asking for rep in the lounge.

* - Ice Poseidon - Jul 22, 2017

Damn Omni coming in hot with all these new updates
